Welcome
The Quality Consortium of Suffolk County (QC) is a partnership of non-profit organizations throughout Suffolk County, New York that are dedicated to the delivery of comprehensive, affordable and accessible chemical dependency and problem gambling prevention, treatment and recovery services. The QC advocates for the strengthening and expansion of those services and actively encourages public, political and individual support of its member agencies and their programs.
The Problem
Drug abuse and addiction have negative consequences for individuals and for society. Estimates of the total overall costs of substance abuse in the United States, including productivity and health- and crime-related costs, exceed $600 billion annually.
